The Jefferson County Board adopted a consolidated county-wide fee schedule (Resolution #2026-18) on April 6 after clarifications and edits from county legal staff.
Chase Hendricks (Legal) advised the board that the proposed appeal fee could be removed from the draft schedule and agreed to edit language clarifying that the "in-county" landfill fee for trucks and trailers applies to organic waste hauled to Circular Butte Landfill because County Line cannot accept buried organic material under DEQ rules. No public members signed up to speak during the hearing.
After Hendricks completed the agreed edits, the board voted to approve the county-wide fee schedule. Commissioner Young moved to table earlier in the day to allow edits; later the board approved the document by roll call.
The adopted schedule is intended to centralize fees for all county departments and to begin annual fee reviews; Legal will return the edited schedule to the board as recorded in the public hearing.
