The superintendent reported multiple facilities and transportation updates. Over the summer, gym air conditioners failed; the district identified related electrical issues and resolved them. A boom lift was rented to repair the bell tower and trees around the track were trimmed.
On transportation, Brose said the school bus is back in service and the bus stops were recertified by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The superintendent did not attach dollar amounts or vendor names to the repairs in the Aug. 20 minutes.
These items were presented as part of the superintendent’s regular report; the board did not take formal action at the meeting on facilities or transportation matters.
