At the March 3 meeting the Beaver County Commission voted unanimously to enter a closed session to discuss the character or professional competence of an individual, strategy for pending or reasonably imminent litigation, and real property negotiation. Chairman Wade Hollingshead later closed the session.
Following the closed session, the Commission authorized signature on two retainer contracts: one with Advocacy for Community and Environment and one with law firm Smith Hartvigsen. Both contract approvals passed unanimously on motions recorded in the minutes.
