Planners emphasize ADA access and visibility to address vandalism and safety at Orchards Park

"There is no ADA access, and the structure has been a target to vandalism and illegal behaviors in the past," said Evelyn Ives. County staff said proposed work will improve visibility and circulation to reduce safety risks, upgrade pathways for accessibility, and add lighting, intersection safety changes and a centrally located restroom funded with county capital dollars.
Staff noted that a traffic study and site assessment will inform decisions about parking expansion and intersection safety measures before final designs are prepared.
