Finance committee hears ambulance price increase request and enters executive session on compensation

"So that resulted in an increase of 7,569," Chief Cervenka said. Committee members asked about delivery timing; speakers noted the procurement timeline can be two to three years. The council voted to add the ambulance item to the evening agenda and waive the 24‑hour rule as an emergency.
The council then moved and carried a motion to go into executive session to discuss employee compensation; the body recessed at about 6:05 p.m. and later reconvened at 6:19 p.m. No public action on the ambulance purchase was recorded in committee minutes that evening; any procurement authorization will appear on a future public agenda.
