Carmel Valley board to review comments, will share Park Use Permit and post it online

After hearing a proponents’ executive summary and several residents opposed to siting active-wheeled recreation at the district park, the Carmel Valley Recreation and Park District Board of Directors declined to take immediate action at its April 3 special meeting. Board members said they would review the public comments and relevant documents before any decision.
President Alex Gray told attendees that the Park Use Permit would be made available: "it would be emailed to anyone interested plus be added to the website," according to the meeting minutes. The board scheduled no vote at the special meeting and noted the next regular meeting for April 8, 2026, where the item could be revisited.
