Board introduces new teachers and names POB Middle School principal

At the special July 29 meeting administrators announced multiple appointments: Victoria Seaver as a probationary elementary teacher at Pasadena Elementary, Brooke Sillig as a probationary speech teacher, Allison Encarnado as chair for PE/health/SEL K–8, and Brian Ciampa as POB Middle School principal.
An Administrator introduced several new staff appointments at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District special meeting on July 29.
"We are so pleased to have her part of POB next year, and we wish her all the success in her position," the Administrator said when announcing Victoria Seaver's appointment as a probationary elementary teacher at Pasadena Elementary School. The Administrator also congratulated Brooke Sillig on being appointed to a probationary speech teacher role after serving as a leave replacement and in the ESY program, and introduced Allison Encarnado as the new chairperson for physical education, health and social emotional learning (K–8). The Administrator announced that Brian Ciampa will be principal of POB Middle School, noting his prior service as an assistant principal with the district.
The Chair welcomed the new hires on behalf of the board and said the board looks forward to the coming school year.
