County staff to ask council to extend annual review resolution to Oct. 30

Oliver Ojiako told the council he will ask at hearing for a one‑month extension of the annual review resolution (from Sept. 30 to Oct. 30) because the comprehensive plan work scheduled alongside these CFP hearings will not be finished in time.
"I'm going to be asking for a hearing for council to consider just extending the annual review resolution by one month," Oliver said. He said he may add that extension request to the same hearing packet so councilors can consider it along with the CFP items.
Councilors acknowledged the anticipated extension and staff said they will bring the item at the upcoming hearing so the council can take formal action if it chooses.
