City Manager Kirk Biotti said the project is anticipated to be completed either in the fall or early spring depending on bidding and scheduling. "We're hoping this fall," Biotti said, noting construction and lighting bids will be coordinated so the irrigation work occurs when other park upgrades are scheduled. The council scheduled a public hearing on Aug. 10, 2026 to gather input before any final acceptance and implementation vote.
