Commissioners adopt resolution on court trustee fees, retain CPA for 2027 budget services and approve payroll and weather-policy updates

Clerk Rein presented Resolution 2026-R-11, a joint resolution regarding distribution of fees collected by the court trustee of the 24th Judicial District; the commission adopted the resolution by motion, 3-0.
The board accepted an engagement letter from Adams Brown Strategic Allies and CPAs to provide 2027 budget services. Commissioners also approved payroll change notices for an EMS employee receiving ALS certification (dated 5/24/26) and for a new PRN paramedic hire (dated 5/28/26). Finally, the board approved an updated Severe Weather Policy allowing employees to use personal/sick time, vacation or unpaid leave to cover hours missed due to closure or lateness from severe weather.
