EDA delays action on T Morgan Construction sales agreement, tables deed correction

County Attorney Kemper Beasley provided Economic Development Authority directors an overview and update on a draft EDA Master Sales Agreement involving T Morgan Construction and on a Deed of Correction presented in March. Directors asked for additional information on the sales agreement and asked that the matter be revisited at the Authority’s May 19, 2026 meeting.
Separately, on a motion by Director Glenn Mozingo, seconded by Director C. Gene Brooks, the Authority unanimously voted to table the Deed of Correction until the May 19 meeting. Votes were recorded for present directors; the record shows the motion carried unanimously among those present.
