Noah Mabe, Small Business & Economic Development Coordinator, presented the Authority's financial report; on motion by Doss Cummings, seconded by Rick Worley, the Authority approved the report unanimously. The presentation prompted questions about outstanding reimbursements and grant administration.
Chairman Ron Haley asked whether the Authority was due funds related to a Mobile Health Care Unit; James Houchins said he is still working to resolve that grant issue. Houchins also said that reimbursement from the West Piedmont Planning District Commission for asbestos abatement work is pending final sign-off by the Commission, after which the Commission expects to send the reimbursement.
