Committee recognizes staff, shares parting remarks and adjourns

"We've had a lot of help from a lot of people, and hopefully this is gonna be our last committee meeting. Our research analyst, I want Wade Williams, he's been great to work with. My legislative assistant, Nikki Jolley, our intern Charles Davis, attorneys Stephanie Snow and Doug Garrett ... and Sergeant of Arms, Tommy Woodard," the chair said while thanking staff and asking members to acknowledge them.
Members exchanged light-hearted remarks and brief jokes, thanked library and archives staff who attended, and recognized the service of Chairman Moon as a parliamentarian. The chair then called for a final motion and adjourned the committee "for the final time."
