The Ward County Human Service Zone (HSZ) Board unanimously approved a motion to accept the lowest and best bid for a new fleet vehicle from Minot Automotive Center.
Miranda Schuler moved to accept the Chrysler Pacifica bid; Mark Roth seconded and the motion carried without opposition. Director Kristi Frederick told the board the HSZ budget allows the purchase of two new vehicles this year and that one existing van will be returned to Ward County for use by the County Coroner. Bids were solicited from Ryan Honda and Minot Automotive Center, with bid details documented on pages 59–63 of the packet.
Board discussion emphasized selecting the "lowest and best" bid; no further amendments or alternatives were proposed. The board took no additional procurement votes at this meeting.
