Commissioners: 1,500-foot Meadowlark–Blair segment needs resolution and landowner consent to be adopted as county road

Commissioner Vickrey flagged a 1,500-foot segment from Meadowlark to Blair Road that has not been formally adopted as a county road. Rio Verde Engineering’s Eric Sackett told the board a formal county resolution would be required to take the road into the county system and noted there is a public easement but the county needs consent from the three landowners crossed by the road.
No resolution or adoption action was taken at the June 2 meeting; the matter remains pending while staff determines whether landowner consent can be obtained and a draft resolution prepared for future board action.
