Carmel Valley board votes to endorse Jonathan Ahmadi for LAFCO special district seat

During public comment, attendees Mibs McCarthy and Marli Melton urged the board to consider Jonathan Ahmadi for the Monterey County LAFCO Regular Special District Representative seat. Jonathan Ahmadi entered the meeting and introduced himself, saying he desired to represent the Special District.
At the Feb. 11 meeting Director Tam Voss made a motion, seconded by Mike Thatcher, that CVRPD will vote for Jonathan Ahmadi; the motion was recorded as unanimously approved. The minutes note that the CVRPD ballot for Jonathan Ahmadi was returned to the county on February 12.
