Casa Conejo MAC moves to quarterly meetings with ad-hoc committees

Chair Debbie Hanna proposed and moved that the Casa Conejo Municipal Advisory Council shift to quarterly meetings and add ad-hoc committees; the motion was seconded by Rob Alvidrez and the council approved the change.
MAC member Brendon Garcia and Field Representative Israel Rodriguez had presented a 3-5 year planning framework that would refocus the MAC as a strategic board guiding goals for public safety, health, planning, public works and community relations in 2025. Some residents voiced concern that expanding responsibilities could overburden volunteers.
The motion passed with no roll-call tally recorded and the MAC's next regular meeting was set for Nov. 14, 2024.
