CHP says oversized RV removed from Casa Conejo; invites residents to safety classes

CHP Moorpark told the MAC that enforcement of the oversized and recreational-vehicle ordinance in Casa Conejo has reduced persistent parking problems and that "the motorhome once parked near Jenny Dr. and Lesser Dr. has been permanently removed from Casa Conejo." The CHP thanked residents who reported the vehicle and said the outcome made the community safer to "drive, walk, and bike."
The CHP also invited families to a free Start Smart driver class for teenage drivers on Sept. 26 and listed several upcoming community events where CHP personnel will be present. The agency noted statewide hiring initiatives including recruitment of officers and dispatchers.
