Board adopts 2026–27 student handbooks and revises FNCD policies
Summary
The Weatherford school board approved student handbooks for each campus for 2026–27 and voted to revise District Policy FNCD and its procedures and regulations.
The board approved student handbooks for the 2026–2027 school year for WECC, Burcham, Stafford Elementary, East Intermediate, Weatherford Middle School and Weatherford High School. The motion to approve the handbooks was made by Bryan Bayless and seconded by Matt Fast and passed with four members voting aye and one absent.
In related action the board approved revisions to District Policy FNCD, FNCD-P and FNCD-R. Each policy revision was moved and seconded and approved on the record; the minutes record all votes as yea among members present. The minutes do not include the full text of the revisions; the district will publish the revised policy language as part of policy records.
