County Auditor Lisa Plecker led a FY2026 budget work session March 3 in which the board reviewed proposed employee wages for the coming fiscal year. Supervisor House provided a recap of a Feb. 24 Farm Bureau meeting he and the auditor attended that informed the wage discussion; the board also established the tax levy rate for the general supplemental fund during the same session.
The minutes do not record specific wage figures or final adoption of a wage schedule. The board set a public hearing on the broader FY2026 property tax levies for March 31, which will precede final budget adoption and any formal wage approvals tied to the FY2026 budget.
