Maintenance staff told the board they are soliciting bids to assess and repair a suspected leaking toilet system at a remote site and that the county does not believe the problem is a high water-table issue. "They're gonna look at those. We've got the porta potties coming in," maintenance staff said, noting a protocol will be required for use.
Board members also discussed vandalism at the snack-shack where a urethane counter had dozens of deep scratches. A board member estimated sanding and re-urethane could fix the damage but warned that if not addressed the scratches could worsen. The board asked staff to get bids and return with a cost estimate.
