Veneta planning staff report progress on elementary parking expansion and Trinity Meadows final plat

In other business, Associate Planner Daniel Findlay reported that Veneta Elementary School received Site Plan Review approval to expand its parking lot on an adjacent parcel it acquired, and that construction is anticipated to begin in the coming summer. He also said the Trinity Meadows subdivision received final plat approval and staff were obtaining signatures in preparation for recording.
Findlay described April as a relatively slow month for new planning applications, with one building plan submission and two small Type A tree removal applications; no appeals had been filed on the US Market site plan review, conditional use permit, and variance at the time of the meeting.
