Supervisors request updates on Bay Area 2050 and Vallejo passenger rail study

At the end of the meeting Supervisor Brown asked staff to schedule a presentation on the Vallejo passenger rail study and to clarify who will represent Solano County on Bay Area regional planning votes. Brown read an email expressing concern that North Bay counties could be asked to contribute toward regional transit services that do not directly serve their residents and said constituents had questioned some study data.
Board members asked staff to coordinate an STA presentation in a future meeting and said they would bring additional reports back to the board. Chair Mashburn adjourned the meeting after brief board member reports.
