Facilities update: wrestling facility to include exterior restrooms; water piping reroute and single-point entry improvements under review

Director of Facilities Steve Fusi updated the committee on completed, in-progress and upcoming projects. He said the new wrestling facility design includes exterior restroom access to address prior concerns about restroom availability at the JV softball fields.
Fusi also reported the district is working with architects to reroute piping for the Selma High School water-connection Phase II in a more cost-effective manner. Campus safety improvements, including single-point-of-entry concepts, are part of the ongoing Master Facility Plan review; staff noted many site offices are not currently configured to support single-point entry and discussions continue on feasible approaches.
