At its Feb. 11 meeting the Coquille School District board reviewed multiple department reports on operations and facilities.
Athletic Director Chris Jones (absent from the meeting) submitted a report and district staff confirmed the district expects to field a baseball team this season. Transportation staff said the department is upgrading to cellular-based radio systems to improve communications. Food service staff noted local food purchases are supported by a Farm to School grant. Assistant Superintendent Jeff Phillis reported ongoing repairs to the Coquille High School boiler that were scheduled to be completed the following day.
The Board thanked staff for the updates and did not take action on these items at the Feb. 11 meeting.
