Business manager reports projected year-end balance of $1,315,833; cautions on May/June postings

The district staff member presenting the fiscal report said the district is projected to end the year with $1,315,833 on hand, based on records through May. The presenter cautioned that some May deposits and June activity remain to be posted and that open purchase orders, when closed, will add recoverable funds to the bottom line.
"This is complete through May... There is a few things that I still need to add for the month of May for the bank statement, some deposits," the staff member said, and noted confidence that the district will reach its budget target by closing outstanding purchase orders and accounting for June activity. The fiscal presentation preceded the superintendent’s enrollment and staffing report and informed the board’s budget action later in the meeting.
