The Select Board discussed the State’s updated road standards and agreed to draft revised Town standards for adoption at the next meeting.
Jeff Chase noted the Town already follows the standards in most respects but identified a few local adjustments that may be needed. Treasurer Elizabeth Karle cautioned that FEMA reimbursements require documentation that the Town followed the State standards in eligible work. Mark Turco proposed updating the Town’s standards and bringing the revised standards to the next meeting for formal adoption.
