He said the district held a first calendar committee meeting and anticipates bringing a proposed calendar to the board in February, following a two-year planning approach.
Goodall said he met with a city task force to discuss district-city collaboration and that regional superintendent conversations emphasize connecting students to community wraparound services. The superintendent said these are early steps in ongoing planning; the board scheduled additional work sessions and an executive session in February to continue the process.
