The NICE Community School District Board of Education convened a special meeting at Westwood High School on Nov. 26, 2024. Scott Mann moved and John Grove supported approval of the agenda 'as presented.' The motion carried.
During the meeting the board voted to enter closed session under Section 8(b) of the Open Meetings Act. The minutes state the meeting entered closed session at 5:33 p.m. and returned to open session at 5:40 p.m. After returning to open session the board recorded a roll-call vote recommending a 45-day suspension for a student. John Grove moved to adjourn, supported by Scott Mann; the meeting adjourned at 5:41 p.m.
