Board approves hires, accepts resignations and authorizes diving board purchase

During the Oct. 21 meeting the NICE board approved multiple personnel actions by motion: hiring Danny Adkins as an LRE aide and groundskeeper; hiring Kathryn Hamel as an LRE aide; authorizing a leave of absence for Lisa Belpedio; and acknowledging resignations from Lisa Mattila and Deidra Ogea.
Separately, by motion the board authorized a new format for the superintendent's salary schedule and approved the purchase of diving board equipment from Horizon Commercial Pools. The diving board purchase was recorded with a roll call vote listing five ayes (Kathleen Carlson, John Grove, Crystal LaFreniere, Scott Mann and Ron Mariani). Motions on personnel actions and the procurement items were recorded as carried in the minutes.
