Council adopted Resolution 26-1-44, the fiscal plan for the Fremont Moore phase 2 annexation, and then adopted Ordinance 26-36 to finalize the voluntary annexation of the described parcels. Ryan Collingwood of the Community Development Department said the annexation completes the second phase for the Lakes at Fremont Moore and covers about 70 acres; the items had been introduced at a prior council meeting and were ready for adoption this evening.
Collingwood told the council the petition had been introduced at the July 13 meeting and staff recommended adoption. On roll call the resolution and the ordinance passed with votes reported as 6–1. The items move Westfield’s municipal boundary inward for the described parcels and are subject to typical post-adoption implementation steps such as updates to city records and service provision planning.
