Residents raise concerns about bright LED streetlight; council asks utility to test shielding

Resident Alfred Stone later reported seeing a truck on site and noted Lane Electric appeared to have added a shield and a different lamp. "I looked... there was a truck there, and so it's got a different lamp... and it looks like they put a shield," he said. Council members said they must balance private-property concerns with public-safety needs on the road and will await Lane Electric’s adjustment and report.
