Councilor Jared Morkey moved to grant $1,500 from the city's RTMP fund; the motion carried with recorded aye votes. The attendees said they would attend even if only partial funding were available and return if they seek additional municipal support after expenses are firmed up.
City staff asked that attendees provide follow-up reporting and receipts after the event. The council's decision follows its January review of the RTMP fund balance and prior approvals for small event support.
