Commissioners approve impound and storage yard permit for Stauffer's Road Solutions

Sweetwater County planners briefed the board and the commission approved Resolution 24-08-Z-002 to allow Stauffer's Road Solutions LLC to continue operating an impound and storage yard on Wilkins Peak Drive in a heavy industrial zone.
Cassidy Brown said the business has operated for years at that location and that the property is appropriately zoned. Staff recommended approval with conditions including a requirement for permanent screening (100% on a portion of the front fence and 50% on a portion of the west fence) within six months, annual compliance inspections, and that vehicles will not be stacked or salvaged under this permit. Commissioner Richards moved to approve the resolution including staff conditions; the motion passed unanimously.
