Parks & Recreation and library staff announced a Back-to-School Bash on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bartlett Station, featuring face painting, arts and crafts, school-supply giveaways and on-site vendors offering pre-season physicals and haircuts. A Shelby County liaison was thanked for organizing community vendors and Legacy Cares Bartlett helped secure school supplies.
An alderman announced Bartlett Live at Freeman Park the same weekend: food trucks open at 6 p.m., music from 7 to 9 p.m., and local band Twin Soul performing. Sponsors named on the record included 1st Horizon, Side Port Steak House, Memphis Record Pressing, Worthen Chiropractic and Dobbs Brothers Chevrolet of Bartlett.
