Representative Clark Stith (House District 48) addressed the board during the county residents comments section to thank the Sweetwater County Board of County Commissioners for appointing him 7.5 years earlier and for their collaborative work over the years. Stith said serving the county was an honor and briefly previewed the Appropriations Committee's supplemental budget work, noting wildfire suppression funding will likely be a focus statewide.
"I wanted to come here and thank, the board Sweetwater Board of County Commissioners, which 7.5 years ago appointed me to fill a vacancy to House District 48... It's been a great honor and privilege," Stith said. Commissioners responded with personal thanks and recognition of his service and cooperation with local priorities.
