Baker said both the Lowell Rural Fire Protection District and Lane County had signed off on the application and the item was being shared for information rather than formal action.
Baker also described a recent park event that raised questions about inflatable attractions and insurance coverage: after consulting the City's insurance provider, staff learned inflatables may require additional review and possibly a fee even when an organizer provides insurance naming the City as additionally insured. Going forward, Baker said special event applications involving inflatables will be routed to the insurance provider for review to ensure adequate coverage and compliance. No objections or formal votes were recorded at the work session.
