Okmulgee board approves multiple hires, accepts staff resignation

The board voted to employ Career Certified Staff for FY27 and to hire support staff for FY27; both motions passed unanimously. Separately, the board accepted the resignation of Justin Tyler Jackson and approved employment actions for individual hires identified on the agenda.
Specific hires approved during the meeting included Sheri McCarty as support staff at Dunbar for FY26, Alyson Williams as a certified Primary teacher for FY27 and Keara Richardson as a substitute teacher for FY26. Motions were made and seconded by board members (motions and seconds recorded in the minutes) and each personnel action was carried by unanimous vote (Aye: Mike James, Leroy Parker, Vickie Jones, Keith Baldridge, Chase Nunn).
