Council to accept $5,000 CIS grant to reimburse sewer jetting work

City Administrator Max Baker reported that Resolution 872 would authorize acceptance of a $5,000 grant from CIS to reimburse sewer line jetting work that has already been completed. Baker said the jetting covered approximately 2.7 miles of mainline, staff corrected an erroneous draft date in the resolution from December to April, and reimbursement is expected to be submitted in conjunction with an earlier access-controls grant. The council will consider formal adoption of Resolution 872 at the next regular meeting; staff noted the grant deadline as May 2026.
Because this was a work session, the council did not take formal action on Resolution 872; Baker indicated staff will bring the corrected resolution to the next regular meeting for formal adoption and reimbursement submission.
