State grants lead to two local library construction awards totaling about $706,000

Commissioners awarded two library construction contracts under the Wyoming Library Multipurpose Community Facility program on Nov. 5 after public works staff and the county library director briefed the board on the bidding process.
Public Works Director Gene Legurski said the third time was successful for two of the three library projects; Titan Construction and Restoration LLC submitted the viable bids. The Sweetwater County Library project was awarded for $328,970, and the Rock Springs C Street Library project was awarded for $377,010. The White Mountain Library project remains to be re-bid. The board approved the awards unanimously and authorized the chairman to sign all necessary documents.
