Emery County tourism staff explained a cooperative marketing grant from the Utah Office of Tourism and the Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity for $46,214, down from an initial ask; the commission approved the contract. The county also approved a Division of Outdoor Recreation OHV grant (FY26) of $6,000 with a $6,000 county match to fund motorized trail maps and non-motorized artwork for public distribution, with the county expecting the maps to be completed by year-end.
Commissioners emphasized the value of pursuing state grant funds to support local services and tourism assets.
