Livingston County commissioners approve budget amendments, behavioral-health MOU and capital plan

The Livingston County Board of Commissioners moved through a series of resolutions and roll-call votes at its July 27 meeting, passing budget and service items the board characterized as routine governing business. Resolutions adopted included a second core amendment to the 2026 budget, a fiscal-year 2027 memorandum of understanding and cash-match for behavioral-health managed-care wraparound services, and the submission of a 2027 childcare fund budget to the state.

The board also approved a planning-services agreement between the county Department of Planning and Marion Township, transmitted the 2027–2032 Capital Improvement Plan to the county body, and authorized purchases and installations including administration-building air-handler equipment and IT data-room HVAC. The board approved assignment of a grounds-maintenance, lawn-care and snow-removal services agreement from Evergreen Outdoor (dba Evergreen Irrigation) to 4 Seasons Lawn and Landscape (dba Foxscapes) and approved claims and payables for the period cited. Several of the budget and procurement motions were approved by roll call with commissioners recording their votes; no formal defeated motions were recorded on the meeting transcript.

"All those in favor, please say aye," the chair said before voice votes on several items; commissioners repeatedly responded "Aye" and the chair declared motions approved. The transcript records Commissioner Domas as absent during several votes.
