Douglass Township planning agency approves November minutes; hears Zoning Hearing Board updates

The Douglass Township Planning Agency convened Dec. 12, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. and unanimously recommended approval of the Nov. 14, 2024 Planning Agency minutes. The motion to recommend approval was made by Mike Heydt and seconded by Joe Richardson; the roll call recorded Richardson-Aye, Heydt-Aye, Reitz-Aye and Stouch-Aye.
Manager Andrew Duncan briefed the agency on recent Zoning Hearing Board outcomes. He reported that the Eisenhuth matter at 1407 E. Philadelphia Avenue received side‑yard setback relief; that decision was granted with the condition that the existing house be demolished within 60 days after the written decision. Mr. Duncan also noted the Curry‑Logan hearing for 1446 Grosser Road has been continued to January 15, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. The agency recorded no public comment during the meeting.
The board received distributed materials from Joe Richardson on regional planning initiatives and confirmed the next workshop (zoning ordinance review) is Jan. 9, 2025 at 6:00 p.m., with the next regular meeting (reorganization) at 7:00 p.m. that evening.
