Court authorizes construction contract, approves subdivision replat and pays jail repair invoice

The county authorized the county judge to sign a standard owner-contractor agreement with NNT Construction, following earlier bid award and staff review. Purchasing agent Misty Sims presented the standard form and the court approved the authorization after a motion and second.
Separately, the commissioners approved a replat of Bluecrest Subdivision (Lot 13 replat to Lots 13A and 13B, AW Smith League, Lumberton, Precinct 4) after planning staff and the county engineer indicated the replat met guidelines. The court approved the replat by voice vote.
The court also authorized payment to Cornerstone Detention Products, Inc., Invoice #667285, in the amount of $6,418.34 for repairs to jail doors approved by Chief Deputy Scott Dela Serta and charged to the building maintenance budget; the court authorized a corresponding FY26 budget transfer to cover the work.
