Students representing the FFA chapter described their planned national convention trip (Oct. 30–Nov. 3), competition schedule for the Ag Sales team (which qualified by winning state), planned tours and fundraising sources. Peyton Greger, introducing the student delegation, said the Ag Sales team would travel and other chapter members would attend conference sessions, career fairs and tours; the board asked how the trip is funded and students explained alumni funds and chapter fundraising cover much of the cost.
The board moved, seconded and voted to approve the out-of-state travel request. After the vote the Chair offered congratulations and asked students to share photos with the district upon return.
