Morgan County eliminates $500 failure-to-obtain-a-permit fee; fee schedule to go to public hearing

Chuck Jarrell discussed the Planning and Development department’s fines and permit-fee schedule. County Attorney Patrick Jaugstetter recommended a revised permit fee schedule be presented at public hearing.
Following the recommendation, the Board approved a motion to eliminate the $500 failure-to-obtain-a-permit fee. The motion passed unanimously; minutes indicate a forthcoming revised permit-fee schedule will be presented at public hearing for further action.
