County staff clarifies NOTAM procedure, maintenance manual and training for county airports

"We're gonna make you guys do this," S2 said, describing a workshop-style review of the materials with the road department and Dutch John representatives to improve maintenance consistency across county-run and nearby airfields.
The commission discussed the practicalities of reporting accidents and the likelihood that members of the public or the sheriff's office would report a serious on-field incident if pilots did not. Staff also outlined follow-up steps to schedule the nighttime flight and continued coordination on surface repairs.
