Figueroa outlines Union senior clinics, outings and movie day

Figueroa presented upcoming programs and trips for Union's seniors, including health services, entertainment and off-site outings.
He announced a health and wellness clinic Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 9:30–11:30 a.m., with a nurse on site to provide health maintenance checks and preventive services. He also described a "Music Journey: Behind the Music" sing-along on Monday, Aug. 24 at 11 a.m. "Come for the music. Stay for the fun," Figueroa said, inviting seniors to participate. The seniors' movie day is Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 1:30 p.m.; the film was listed as Apple Mortgage Cake.
Figueroa listed several day trips: Wind Creek Casino to Bethlehem, Pa., on Aug. 20 ($40 per ticket, departing Genette Ave.); Monmouth Park's Rivalry Room on Aug. 14 ($80 per ticket, including admission, a racing program and lunch); and the Columbus Flea and Farmers Market on Aug. 27 from 9:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. ($3).
