The Douglass Township Board of Supervisors on Dec. 2 approved release #4 of escrow funds for the Oak Mill development, authorizing a payment of $36,611.77 to Chatham Creek, LLC. Chairman Joshua Stouch moved for approval based on the township engineer's recommendation; the motion passed unanimously (Bergstresser-Aye, Stouch-Aye, Carpenter-Aye).
Khal Hassan of Pennoni & Associates reported that "a site inspection was conducted November 27th, 2024 and based on our observations of the work, we recommend the requested release." The board's approval leaves $63,395.38 remaining in escrow. The board recorded the vote and did not raise further questions about the release.
The board will reconvene on Dec. 16, 2024; no additional action on Oak Mill was scheduled at this meeting.
