Water utility seeks renewal of Nozomi cybersecurity monitoring subscription

"You've seen a lot of in the news lately about, hackers trying to hack SCADA systems, and and we just got an email yesterday where it's happened in the state of Georgia," Gordon said, explaining the county's motivation for continued monitoring.
Staff noted this renewal represents the utility's third year with the product and recommended funding the license from the water treatment plant budget (presented figure in the meeting was $41,000, $412). The item was moved to consent for approval.
